Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 require employers, landlords and duty-holders to ensure electrical equipment is maintained in a safe condition. It does not specify PAT testing, nor do they set any required testing intervals. However, PAT Testing is the recognised method of ensuring that electrical equipment is routinely inspected and maintained. Most insurance policies expect you to PAT Test.

The certificate costs £25+VAT. The course will tell you at the end if you have passed or failed the course. If you need to provide a certificate to an employer/insurer, you can buy one. Alternatively send us an email after you’ve passed. Include the date you passed, what name you wish to appear on the certificate and the email address used, and we can manually raise an invoice and certificate for you.

You can repeat the course as many times as you wish.
